Transmitter Site Facilities
For many reasons, including antenna coverage, zoning, and space requirements, the best location for the transmitting antenna for a radio or television station is often different from the preferred location for the studio facilities, where convenience of access and other considerations may be more important. In that case, the transmitter and antenna will usually be located at a separate site, with the program feed provided by a studio-transmitter link (as described in Chapter 11).
