Today, there are various types of self-help books available. Some of them are about the theories of success while others are filled with anecdotes and examples of successful sales people. Many promise instant success. Yet, as I was going through many of these publications, it was clear to me that they were all missing something; there was still a vacuum to be filled.

Good wine takes time to mature. It needs the right grapes and it needs careful and loving processing. Good wine is also made to suit the needs of the discerning wine drinker. Similarly, the making of a good salesperson cannot be rushed; it cannot happen overnight. It needs the right inputs, and needs nurturing and customisation.
