Mobile Is Social and Social Is Mobile

Mobile phones were created to facilitate communication. Given our obsession with communicating over social media networks, it makes perfect sense that using social media on mobile devices is one of its most popular uses. According to comScore, 65 percent of time spent on social media networks happens on mobile.1

Some social networks, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, started on desktop screens but continuously see more usage from mobile devices. Other social networks, such as FourSquare and Instagram, started on mobile first. They may be viewable on desktop but these platforms were born from the mobile behaviors of capturing quick, on-the-go moments.
