How to Concoct Creative Angles, Images, and Exploits
So I’ve convinced you that you need an original idea to earn media coverage for your ordinary pick-your-own-apples apple orchard. But you’re stumped. Your thoughts feel like sludge, the only possibilities you’ve come up with bore you, and disgust is growing by the minute.
Then it’s time to go ahead and give up. Stop trying so hard! Stop trying, period. Creativity goes into hiding when willpower is out flexing its muscles. Let go of the problem completely and do something else. If that feels too undirected, just before you quit, send a message to your unconscious mind that some time in the next few days you’d like to have a brainstorm.
