Tip Sheets That Keep You in People’s Minds, Files, and Favorites
Unlike some master networkers I know, I don’t have much of a business card collection. To me they’re usually utilitarian bearers of contact information without much other communicative value. Recently, however, I ran across a sheet of paper titled “How to Produce Photos With Impact” from Nat Starr Associates of Troy, Michigan, that I had picked up at a speakers’ convention a decade ago. Because it was packed with useful tips, I saved it as I wouldn’t have Starr’s business card or brochure. You may not want to dispense with cards, but I hope you’ll consider keeping tip sheets on hand as a basic publicity and marketing tool.
