The government offers funding via three main routes:

  1. Direct funding, i.e. funds straight from government to the business
  2. Indirect funding through programmes such as the Regional Growth Fund and Funding for Lending Scheme
  3. The government as your customer, so accessing funds in the form of secured contracts
