It is usually all hands on deck and full steam ahead on D-day. We are sure that most of us have experienced the overwhelming rush of adrenaline in our body when it comes to the project go-live date. It is when the system will be used by the business users. No matter how much testing we have carried out, we cannot explain the situation when the first user logs into the system and the system crashes causing a severity one outage, and a severely tense senior manager is swarming your desk, pushing you to fix the problem, and demanding a reason for failure.
