CHALLENGE 22: PROJECT CANCELLATION

Murphy’s Law – whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, at the worst possible time

For a project manager, nothing is worse than a project getting cancelled. In this recession-hit world, businesses have become smarter and they take up projects which they believe in, and which have more ROI value. Hence, projects such as the ones which cause lot of delays and eat up all the business benefits; projects which regulate changes in pipeline; projects that are non-business critical and can be put on hold, are the candidates for cancellation.

If this happens, there are certain things that need to be done promptly, and are very easily overlooked when procrastinating.
