3Discovering Your Voice

The 5 Voices self-assessment is simple. Taking it won't make you break into a cold sweat the way we did when we were taking placement tests for university. No calculators or extra pencils needed. We just ask for you to open your mind and be in responsive mode to the information that follows so you can determine which voice is foundational for you and embrace it confidently.

We are going to help you to order your voices from your foundational voice (first voice) to your nemesis voice (last voice). In the end you will learn how this voice order affects your behavior and will help you understand yourself and then other people. So, whether you are a Pioneer, Connector, Guardian, Creative, or Nurturer, we want to help you know yourself so that you can lead yourself.

Knowing your voice implies that you understand who you are and how you contribute in life in the best possible way. Knowing your voice means identifying your natural gifts and abilities. Appreciating your voice gives you the freedom to be who you are, which, in turn, enables you to respect others in your life and extend the same freedom to them.

  2. We each have the capacity to use all five of the voices. ...
