Making an Effective Flow Graph

In order to make an effective Motion Flow Graph, you need to have an ample library of clip motions included on the graph. Any potential motion that the biped might need in your animation should be represented as a clip. Turns to the left or right, sudden stops, arm movements—all need to be represented by a .bip file in the Motion Flow Graph. As a rule, make sure you have at least eight files included, with transitions between all. It’s a good idea to visit each transition and review it, to make sure the program did a good job of picking the right transition length.
