Simulation Troubleshooting Tips

When you’re doing simulations, what you’re looking for is the simplest setup. Simple means fewer behaviors, and thus fewer parameters to worry about. The trick is not to waste time trying combinations that won’t ever work. This is a sure time-waster!

It’s easy to get caught up in setting various parameters all over the place to get the simulation to look right, especially when you consider that similar animation can be created with completely different behaviors. When creating this series of exercises, I went through a number of permutations before striking on the simplest one that would work.
