Exercise 9.4. Pushing the Swing

In this exercise, you’ll animate the OSO to make a mother push a child on a swing. Here, the child’s lowest spine link will become the OSO for the mother’s hands. As the child swings back to the mother, her hands will follow the child’s body and appear to push him.

Load the file PushSwing.max from the CD and play the animation. This scene includes the child on the swing from the preceding exercise. His mother has come to push the swing for him. Right now, the OSO has not been set up, so the child passes right through the mother’s hands.
