Editing Footstep Placement

The footstep icons themselves can be moved and rotated to make the biped move around in different ways. When you’re in Footstep mode, only footsteps can be selected. You select one or more footsteps as you would select any 3ds Max object—click a footstep in a viewport, or hold the Ctrl key and click to select multiple footsteps, or draw a selection region around the footsteps you want to select.

Once you’ve selected footsteps, you can use Select and Move or Select and Rotate to transform the footsteps.
