Nonhuman Bipeds

So far, you’ve seen how to create a biped only for a humanoid character. Now you’ll learn how to create bipeds for other types of characters, such as objects, animals with tails, and quadrupeds.

The concepts used for humanoid characters also apply to the other types. Follow the same sequence in posing the biped, applying skin, and testing the envelope assignment. However, there are additional rules for nonhumanoid characters to make them work properly with Character Studio.

First we’ll go over a few of the options that really only apply to nonhumanoid characters, and then you’ll get a chance to create a biped for an animal character.
