Terminology
When you see the term Biped with a capital B, this refers to the Biped module and its tools. The term biped with a lowercase b refers to the biped skeleton itself.
In any software package, the term rig refers to a set of controls for animating a character. A rig consists of a skeleton and the controls for animating the skeleton. A biped skeleton includes a complete rig.
