CHAPTER 13: THE CHINESE CYBERTHREAT: CONCLUSIONS

The central thesis of this book is that the People’s Republic of China has a comprehensive cyberwarfare strategy that has both offensive and defensive objectives, and which encompasses government, military and commercial spheres. Protection of an enterprise IT network must be based, in the context of 21st century Chinese cyberwarfare, on the concept of “realization”: the realization that the organization’s network and intellectual property has already been compromised.
