Using the Document Inspector

PowerPoint 2007 presentations are often shared outside organizations, which can create some privacy issues that most people don’t usually consider. Hidden data that includes personal or sensitive information can be stored in a presentation, and it’s easy to forget that the data is there—especially if you aren’t aware that PowerPoint 2007 is recording it in the first place.

PowerPoint 2007 has a special feature that helps you locate this type of information: the Document Inspector. When you launch the Document Inspector, it will search your presentation for several types of information, including the following:
