Analyzing Access Data in Excel

The power of Access is its ability to extract information from, and look at relationships in, sets of data. The power of Excel is its ability to easily perform statistical and other types of analyses on sets of data. You can combine the power of both programs by gathering a data set in Access and then analyzing it in Excel. You can use either a table or a query as the source of the data you send to Excel, but, if you use a query, you’re using the power of Access to customize your data set before you export it.
