Using Word to Prepare PowerPoint Text

When you’re developing a PowerPoint presentation, you’ll find that preparing the text (but not content such as tables and pictures) in Word and then sending it to PowerPoint is the easiest and most flexible way to go. You can take advantage of Word’s multitude of features to create exactly the look you want for the text of your presentation. As you create your document in Word, you can use the heading styles to tell PowerPoint how you want the information to be interpreted.
