Formatting a Shape

Shapes are useful tools for illustrating your content. However, in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and in the Outlook Editor, you can often add extra impact to a document by creating a formatted shape rather than using a plain black-and-white-outlined shape.

Format the Shape

  1. Click to select the shape if it isn’t already selected.

  2. Point to different shape styles, and click the style you want.
