Stretch Beyond Your Style
To truly apply the Platinum Rule, you will have to stretch beyond your own style and try on another when interacting with others.
For example, if you are an Analyzer and you’re working with a Supporter, then you will need think beyond the logical side of something and investigate the emotions that drive the situation; numbers and statistics may not get you there. You may need to step out of your own personal comfort style and get into the head of your Supporter colleague—who works and comes to decisions based on how people feel.
