Build Trust
Trust is essential to any good relationship. Trust is defined by the Merriam-Webster dictionary as “assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something,” and “one in which confidence is placed.”
You want to have others trust you. That means they need to rely upon you and what you do and say. Similar to integrity, trust is an integral part of your reputation. If you are trustworthy, that means you do what you say and say what you do.
