Be Authentic
If you want people to trust you, you have to keep it real. That means you have to own up to who you are—and you have to like it.
No one is perfect. We all have flaws. But so many people spend time trying to make us believe they’re flawless. You’ve met them: the know-it-all, the embellisher, the goodie-two-shoes. The list goes on.
It takes a lot of energy to hide our faults and pretend to be something more than we are. And that’s a lot of wasted effort. Think about it for a moment: If you’re presenting yourself in some form of false light, then you’re developing a false reality. In time, you’ll be found out.
