If there is a group that you cannot ignore, it’s your staff or your employees. After all, you consulted with them while making the decision, and they know something is coming. And more often than not, they will be the ones who will have to implement the decision.

So, handle this communication well and appropriately. Speak to them personally as a group. Be detailed in your explanation of how you came to the decision. Remind them you consulted with them. Explain clearly how the decision will benefit the organization (and them, if it will).
