A Chance to Take a Chance
When an applicant says yes and joins your company or organization, there is only one thing you can and should offer him or her: an opportunity. Perhaps said another way, you are giving them a chance to take a chance that they will succeed. Although you have the responsibility to provide the resources, the roadmap, and the opportunity, his or her real fate and future are in his or her own hands.
