They Don’t Know How Much You Care
Virtually every company in America talks about how important its employees are, but then fails to prove it. People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. It’s easy to talk, but the challenge is to show them.

True caring is demonstrated, not spoken. On a 3 × 5 card, write: “At my next opportunity, I will show my team I care about them in some way. And I’ll do that at least once a month.” Then do it. Review this card once each month to remind yourself of your commitment.
