Immediately after 9/11, I was asked to come to New York City to work with Merrill Lynch because the company had an office located in the World Financial Center, a building connected to both World Trade Center buildings. The Merrill Lynch office had two of its financial advisors eating breakfast the morning of 9/11 in a restaurant called Windows on the World, along with a number of their clients.
