Carl started his professional career in 1971 as an auditor and CPA with Arthur Young & Co. (now Ernst & Young) in Los Angeles. He had a wide range of clients and spent five years building a professional practice as a country partner in Saudi Arabia. After returning to the United States and subsequently leaving Arthur Young, he decided to change his focus from numbers to people.
