Be a Contingency Thinker

Being a contingency thinker means always having a back-up plan. You learn to think in terms of “what if?” For example, say you have to send a large order to a customer by a certain deadline. What are some contingencies you would need to think about? You might think about alternative ways of shipping the order to the customer’s location. What if the normal way you send orders is not available or can’t deliver on time? What contingency plans do you have that could prevent this situation from becoming a problem for the customer?
