35. Take Care of Childcare

There are few unalterable truths about much of anything, but about telecommuting there is one undeniable, nondebatable, nearly universal truth: Telecommuting is not a substitute for childcare. While you may have more time with your family (assuming you manage your workaholic tendencies and discipline yourself to stay out of your office when you should be with your family), the additional family time you have is derived primarily from your former commuting time.
