Don’t continue to work when the session is going badly
Let’s say you’ve done your homework. You’ve planned and prepared your demo recording session. You’ve hired the musicians and the vocalist. You’ve supplied them all with rough demos of the songs, and you’ve given them an idea of the kind of feel you want. You plan to record three songs, so you’ve booked the studio for three hours to record the instrumental tracks. The musicians arrive in the studio on time, and you go right to work.
