Not all stakeholders are involved at the start of every project, especially on projects with long durations. As new players come into the mix for your work, make them aware of what you are doing and why, and work to understand their needs and interests. Endeavor to harmonize their requirements with your project, by using your change process and by involving them in ongoing project communications.
