42. How do I cope with part-time team members with conflicting assignments?
In a perfect world, all projects would be staffed with dedicated, full-time contributors who have no other responsibilities. In the real world, we all have many demands on our time, and at least some of the contributors on typical projects will also be committed to other projects. Succeeding in this environment depends on realistic and meaningful commitments, adequate involvement, and support from other managers.
