Just as you can automate Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel (as shown in the “Application #93” section), you can also automate Internet Explorer. You might want to allow a user to browse the Web directly within your application, or you might want to let the user open Internet Explorer to a Web site of her choice from within your application.
