Ask others wherethey believe youshould be.

A few of those same honest people will likely let you know where they believe your performance should be—and they might even be so generous as to offer specific suggestions on how you can improve. Listen to them. Take notes, and as you go through the performance year, make it a point to incorporate some of their suggestions into what you are doing.
