The use of visual aids, slides, and other visual tools might require you to turn in such a way that you can at least notice if they’re working properly. If you need to, go ahead, but do not spend more than a few seconds in that direction. If you do, you’ll likely find your audience’s attention distracted because they see your attention being distracted.
