Most people practice the beginning of their presentations far more often than they do either the middle or the end. If you have done this, you might begin with a false sense of confidence relative to how much of your presentation you have memorized. Staying in touch with your memory joggers (index cards or full-page printouts) allows you to lean on them when necessary.
