Far too many executives have their administrative assistants develop their slide decks, then the executives stand up before the audience and run through the slides for the first time audience— having no idea of the flow, or the presence or absence of automation. This is not good. Make sure you know the general flow of the presentation and, where necessary, adjust the presentation deck to fit your style and approach—particularly if someone else developed the deck for you.
