More than likely, you’ll need toslow down!

Most presenters, when they are nervous or excited, tend to speed up the rate at which they speak. Speeding up the rate of your speech changes the meaning behind the words. If you don’t believe us, try saying, “This is a great day!” fast, then slower, then at the slowest rate you can say it. As the adrenaline gets pumping, you’ll need to slow down. Feel free to start early.
