Decimals
Decimals are commonly used for money, as well as for weights and measures, especially when using the metric system. Generally speaking, decimals are easier to work with than fractions, provided that you know how to place the decimal point in your answer.

Here are a few tips for working with decimals:
To change a decimal to a fraction, put the decimal in the numerator of a fraction with a denominator of 1. Then, continue to multiply both the numerator and denominator by 10 until the numerator is a whole number. If necessary, reduce the fraction. For example, change 0.62 ...
