English designer David
Saunders launched
his label David David
in 2004 after years of
experience in the art
world where he had the
opportunity to work
with outstanding artists,
Tracey Emin among
them. When he started
out in fashion, David
made highly detailed
and hand-printed
patterned T-shirts, with
each one looking as if it
were a new work of art.
This quickly brought
him to the attention of
the press and buyers.
Today his geometric
prints have become his
signature look. He has
expanded his line to
complete prêt-à-porter
collections that he
presents each season at
London Fashion Week,
and which are sold
in famous stores the
world over, among them
Colette in Paris, Seven
in New York, Edition in
Japan, and Dover Street
Market and Harvey
Nichols in London.
