105. Switch to Enthusiasm

A mediocre idea that generates enthusiasm will go further than a great idea that inspires no one.

So what works? Inspiration. Enthusiasm. Generating love for the mission. This change has to occur in someone’s life. How do I have my pessimist experience that? I can’t control that person. My only shot is through being a model and example of inspiration—someone who inspires that person by how I listen, how I communicate, who I am. When that becomes inspirational, change happens. If I am leading a team of people I want to be who I want them to be. Not just say who I want them to be. I want to show them what that’s like.

If they see me with a customer or a prospect, I want to demonstrate what it’s like to love ...
