In the attic

There’s a lot of complicated stuff in this chapter, as well as a few surprisingly straightforward pieces. As always, by breaking the project down into small chunks we can get through it more easily.

We’ll begin with shaping the walls for the attic. These not only set the backdrop, they also determine the perspective for this whole scene – so we’ll see how to draw vanishing lines and a horizon to help us to make sure that the whole illustration has a consistent, realistic appearance.
