You’ve finished your presentation; thanked your participants; and provided a concrete, concise call to action; however, you’re not exactly done. Following up with your participants is an important final step to conducting a great virtual presentation.

Follow-up is important for two basic reasons: 

  • to confirm that you accomplished your goals (and, if you didn’t, why) 
  • to capture feedback on what went well and what could have gone better.
