Back in my Build a Mobile Dude App with PhoneGap and jQuery Mobile post I walked you through the creation of my mobile Dude app using PhoneGap and jQuery Mobile.
I realized after I had started that I had given my app a name I didn’t like (B3). Changing the name on the app was entirely unintuitive to me, but I eventually tracked down what I needed. If you decide you want to change the display name to your application, fire up Eclipse and open res/values/strings.xml.
You probably only have one or two values in there, but this is the one you’re looking for:
Change the app_name to whatever you want, save and rebuild.
