Each of these client actions can be initiated from here outside of the schedules set in policy, which can be particularly helpful when troubleshooting. In addition to this, each of the actions can be triggered from either a command line or PowerShell, so we have the option to run it from a script, in some kind of automation solution, or simply make remote commands to the client. There are also some further actions available to us. The syntax for doing this is as follows.

The following command line example uses WMIC and will trigger a hardware inventory:
