In T-SQL, the only way to filter a view is to add the filter in a WHERE clause when you select from the view. There is no way to pass a parameter to a view in order to filter the rows. However, you can use an inline table-valued function to simulate passing a parameter to a view, or in other words, simulate a parameterized view.

Inline functions are view specific.
