Everyone should be encouraged to contribute, but you should realize that some contributions have a negative value. The value of an individual's contribution is related to the size of the group. As group size increases, each person's contributions become harder to integrate into the whole. You need to ask yourself how much effort it will take to perform an activity and how much value it will provide to the collaborative effort.
