I found this introduction insufferably smug, but sentences like this one make me not trust the skills of the author. In every language, code from a good developer is well organized and efficient, by definition of "good developer." I'm not hear for soapbox evangelism, I'm here to learn a language -- the over-the-top superiority of this introduction casts doubt on the author's thoughtfulness about technology.
