Hungarian notation

Means variable names start with an abbreviation that indicates its data type. Can be confusing when later versions change the data type but the name must be kept the same for compatibility reasons. If you don't speak Hungarian, that's what these variable names might look like to you. Interesting side note: the guy who invented this actually was Hungarian.
